A 3% borate based, high pH self-buffering, cross-linker designed to provide immediate viscosity in guar or HPG (hydroxypropyl guar) based fracturing fluid systems. It contains internal buffers that automatically raise the pH of the gelled fluid to the range of 9 to 11 for cross-linking. This eliminates the need for external buffers and allows for an immediate cross-link. BIO-CROSS 103M assists in minimizing fluid loss to the formation, thereby contributing to more efficient fractures being produced.
A high temperature borate cross-linker that provides a delayed cross-link in guar or HPG (hydroxypropyl guar) based fracturing fluid systems. It provides substantial gel strength and proppant carrying capabilities at temperatures greater than 250°F (121°C). BIO-CROSS 109M assists in minimizing fluid loss to the formation thereby contributing to more efficient fractures being produced.
