BIO-BUFF 250

A high pH buffering agent to adjust the pH of fracturing gels to the proper range for cross-linking and to maintain the stability of the fluids with increased temperature. BIO-BUFF 250 can be mixed on the fly and is effective over a wide temperature range.

BIO-BUFF 300

A high pH buffering agent used to adjust the pH of fracturing gels to the proper range for cross-linking and to maintain the stability of the fluids with increased temperature. BIO-BUFF 300 can be mixed on the fly and is effective for temperatures up to 400°F (204°C).

BIO-BUFF 350

A high pH buffering agent used to adjust the pH of fracturing gels to the proper range for cross-linking and to maintain the stability of the fluids with increased temperature. BIO-BUFF 350 can be mixed on the fly and is effective over a wide temperature range.

BIO-BUFF 400

A low pH buffering agent used to assist with the hydration of guar based fracturing fluids. It can be used to lower the source water to the proper pH range of 3.0 to 6.0 to enable the guar gelling agent to properly hydrate and viscosify the water prior to cross-linking. BIO-BUFF 400 can be mixed on the fly and should be added prior to the gelling agent.

BIO-BUFF 470

A low pH buffering agent used to assist with the hydration of guar based fracturing fluids. It can be used to lower the source water to the proper pH range of 3.0 to 6.0 to enable the guar gelling agent to properly hydrate and viscosify the water prior to cross-linking. BIO-BUFF 470 can be mixed on the fly and should be added prior to the gelling agent. BIO-BUFF 470 can also be used in acidizing treatments to assist with iron control.

BIO-ADD® 4576

A liquid organic acid based iron sequestering agent that effectively controls the precipitation of iron as the acid spends and prevent re-precipitation as the oxide. It is effective in all acid blends and compatible with all common acidizing additives. BIO-ADD 4576 can also be used as a low pH buffering agent in stimulation fluids.

BIO-ADD® 7730

A sodium thiosulfate solution that provides thermal stability for guar-based fracturing fluid systems when bottom hole temperatures exceed 200°F (93°C). It can be used in borate, titanium, and zirconium crosslinked fracturing fluids to extend the guar or derivatized guar upper temperature limit.
