ZEROL alkylbenzenes (ABs)
The ZEROL AB range consists of high quality synthetic lubricants based on alkylbenzene technology. They have been widely used in stationary systems with CFC (R12), HCFC (R22), HFC and natural e.g. (R717) refrigerants. Compared with mineral oils, which are also widely utilised with R12 and R22, ZEROL alkylbenzenes offer a cost effective synthetic alternative with numerous technical benefits.
The Shrieve ZEROL AB range are also applied in select HFC systems where they exhibit excellent oil return properties. They are extensively OEM approved, particularly for use in R22 and NH3 systems and are available in a wide range of viscosity grades.
