Shrieve is a global supplier of specialist lubricants and performance fluids across a wide range of industries. We have industry leading expertise in lubrication technology for the refrigeration and air conditioning market sectors with our ZEROL® range of high performance synthetic lubricants, based on alkyl benzene, PAG and POE chemistries. Our PROGILINE® products range from high performance base fluids through to sophisticated synthetic industrial fluids and lubricants offering significant applicational advantages.

Our Oil & Gas Division provide a range of specialist chemistries and products to the oilfield and we have built a significant reputation within this industry for our service and speed of response around the world.

    Shrieve Chemical Company founded by Jim Shrieve marketing sulfur & sulfuric acid across the USA.

  • 1988

    Specialty Products Division formed, following the acquisition of Chevron’s ZEROL® AC&R lubricants business.

    Shrieve’s Oilfield Chemicals division established serving the Oil & Gas markets around the world.

  • 1999

    EMEA operation established in the UK following the acquisition of Chevron’s European ZEROL® and PROGILINE® businesses.

  • 2004

    EMEA & US operations entered into exclusive agreement for the distribution of AC&R grade PAGs from Cognis.

  • 2008

    China operation established in Shanghai serving the Asia Pacific Specialty Products markets.

  • 2010

    Chemical distribution business strengthened through the acquisition of Bigler Chemicals in North America.

  • 2013

    Technology Center opened in The Woodlands, TX.

    Strategically placed production & services facilities established in Texas to better serve customers in the Oil & Gas markets
