OILFIELD CORROSION INHIBITORS
Shrieve's range of corrosion inhibitors are chemicals used to protect iron and steel components. For oilfield applications, gas systems typically require this to be applied as a vapor phase, while liquid systems will often deploy film-forming inhibitors that coat the metal surfaces.
Oil and gas production will often contain a water fraction (from the formation, or condensation, or from water-injection). This water combined with the presence of acid gas (such as CO2 & H2S) can form very corrosive conditions, and these issues can be accelerated by differences in pressure and temperature.

A general purpose hydrochloric (HCl) acid corrosion inhibitor. It is effective in all HCl acid concentrations up to 28% and for temperatures up to 350°F (177°C). BIO-COR 1011 contains no alkyl phenols, aromatic solvents, heavy metals, or quaternary amines.
A blend of amines and solvents used as an oil-soluble, filming corrosion inhibitor. It provides effective corrosion control in producing wells, pipelines, disposal wells, injection wells, and refinery applications.
An effective broad spectrum hydrochloric (HCl) acid corrosion inhibitor. It can be used in all HCl acid concentrations for well acidizing, acid fracturing, and industrial cleaning applications up to 200°F (93°C) to form a protective film on metal surfaces. BIO-COR 1031 has a better environmental profile than common corrosion inhibitors and is highly biodegradable.
A multi-functional acidizing additive that provides corrosion control, iron control, and surfactant properties. It provides effective corrosion and iron control in all hydrochloric acid (HCl) blends up to 350°F (177°C). The surfactant package in BIO-ADD 1400 helps to prevent emulsions, reduce surface and interfacial tensions, and assist with flow back.
An imidazoline dimer acid-base concentrate used to formulate oil-soluble, filming corrosion inhibitors. It also has surfactant properties to provide oil wetting and lubricity characteristics. BIO-COR 2890 can be blended with hydrocarbons such as aromatic naphtha to create field strength corrosion inhibitors for pipelines, disposal wells, and injection wells.
An amine-base, water-soluble corrosion inhibitor for drilling fluids, completion fluids, and production chemical operations. It is effective for the prevention of general corrosion from oxygen and carbon dioxide. BIO-COR 2891 has a low pour point.
SCP CI 2063
SCP CI 2063 is a film-forming imidazoline-base corrosion inhibitor primarily targeted at pipeline, subsea and topside applications. A water-soluble product, it is effective against Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) and Hydrogen Sulfide (H₂S) in oil and gas systems.
SCP CI 2063 is produced to a top-tier specification and has outperformed many corrosion inhibitors with similar chemistry in independent laboratory testing. SCP CI 2063 is effective in oil/gas/water, and also gives excellent protection in high-temperature systems up to 130 degC (266 degF). Although water-soluble it does not build up disproportionately within the water phase.
